Gemma met Colleen Bergin (Executive Officer of Youth Now) in a discussion meeting late last year who was the Guest Speaker. Part of the discussion was what Youth Now does. She got interested and volunteered to help with their accounts once a week. Then she met Tania Sacco and Maria Cox who work for Youth Now and also both are in Women In Business committee.
Gemma is so grateful to be in the committee. It is good knowing people who are in business like her whose members give support with each other and share each others' experience. Also it is about socialising with members and others with the same interests/goals in life; about having fun and raise funds by attending events.

General Committee
Josie Campese
Josie Campese leads a group of Women from around Australia who are independent consultants with The Chefs Toolbox, an innovative party plan company promoting Fantastic Cookware products through Interactive, FUN, Cooking Parties and Fundraisers. She feels she is privileged in her business over the last five years to offer a support role to the women in the team. In her role she finds she discovers so much about women who are self-employed, helping them with challenges faced on a day to day basis as many of them try to get a balance between being mum and an entrepreneur.
Josie joined W I B in 2009 after finding out about an event that was being held. Being self employed can often be isolating so being part of an organisation like the Women in Business Network she found to be valuable to gain and share skills and experiences.
Since joining the committee Josie has enjoyed taking part on the committee and the events that have been offered and found it to be a valuable experience both personally and professionally. It's been a great opportunity to network and meet like minded woman who have similar aspirations. As a committee member she can use her experience as a group leader to offer ideas and assist with events and bring support to the other members elected so that all members of WIB can benefit. Josie enjoys meeting people and networking and takes on the role with enthusiasm.
