Women in Business and Women of the West Speed Networking event
On the 27th July,2011, Women in Business and Women of the West held a Speed Networking event at the Pound Cafe, Whitten Oval, Footscray.
Speed Networking is an informal, fun and effective way to network. Speed networking participants have the opportunity to network with many other professionals in a very short period of time. It's an effective way to make new connections.
We had such a great turnout from both organisations. There were more than 40 business women who had 30 seconds to pitch their business to the person in front of them. Then they had the opportunity to network in more detail after the speed networking was done. It was a successful way to meet a large amount of people in a short amount of time.
